This will help you to connect internet in linux 3.2,linux3.8 and ubuntu 9.1(itschool) by using IDEA NET SETTER
Way 1
Connect netsetter
Copy linux folder from idea netsetter
Paste the folder in desktop. Open this folder. Right click on the file named "install". Click on properties-select permission tab-check the file as executable.(Put a tick mark)
Open terminal-Type sudo su
Enter the linux password and press enter key.
Drag and drop the file "install" in terminal
Press enter key
In the next line press Enter key once more
Thesftware will be installed.
After finishing press any key
Wait for the connection wizard
Click on connect button
Enjoy the internet


Way 2
Login as root user
open /etc/wvdial.conf - replace the data with the data given below


[Dialer Defaults]
Modem=/dev/ttyUSB0
Baud = 460800
Init 1 = AT+CGMM
Init 2 = AT+CMEE=1
Init 3 = ATE0
Init 4 = AT^HS=0,0
Init 5 = AT+CFUN?
Init 6 = AT+CLCK="SC",2
Init 7 = AT+CPIN?
Init 8 = AT+CLCK="SC",2
Modem Type = USB MODEM
Phone=*99#
Username = idea
Password = idea
Dial Command=ATDT
Stupid Mode=1
ISDN=0
APN = internet



Save and close.
then connect NET SETTER with computer
Type wvdial in terminal and press enter key.
Open the web browser and go to websites...
Do not close the terminal during brousing.
